Reach the Bridge is a benefit for the American Lung Association in Oregon.
CAN YOU REACH THE BRIDGE IN TIME?
Portland's most unique 8k personal challenge run. Choose your own start time, but make sure you reach the bridge by the time it goes up.
The bridge raises at 9:00 am exactly. Which side will you be on?
- Beautiful course through the paved roads in Forest Park
- With Burnside Street closed to traffic, you get to own the road for the day
- 8k run or walk with an optional 2k course
- Strollers and children accompanied by an adult are welcome
- Personal challenge run: pick your start time and beat your own record!
- Music at the start and finish lines

Registration at World Forestry Center - 6:30am
Registration at PGE Park - 7:00am

GETTING THERE / PARKING
Parking is extremely limited and there are no surrounding areas for overflow parking. We recommend taking the MAX or carpooling to the start line. The World Forestry Center is on the MAX blue and red lines. Disembark at the Washington Park stop and take the elevator up.
REGISTRATION
Reach the Bridge has a $15 (early) or $25 (standard) registration fee, plus a required $50 fundraising minimum. Fundraising dollars are due by the start of the run.
Early online registration ends at 11:59pm on May 30, 2009. After that time, the standard registration fee applies until online registration closes at 6:30 am on June 26, 2009.
Mail-in forms must be postmarked by May 30, 2009 to take advantage of the early registration fee. The standard registration fee applies if postmarked between June 1 and June 12, 2009.

You may also register at Packet Pick-Up (see below) for $25 plus the $50 fundraising minimum or at the start line for $35 plus the $50 fundraising minimum.
PACKET PICK-UP
Join us on June 27th from 10:00am - 1:00pm at Wentworth SubaruCity show room, 400 E. Burnside at the east end of the Burnside Bridge. Get checked in for the run so that on the morning of the event you're all set. We will be serving great coffee, fresh smoothies and delicious pastries.
You may also register for $25 plus the $50 fundraising minimum.
BAGGAGE TRANSFER
There will be a clothing check in at the starting area. You will reclaim your possessions near the finish line on the east side of the Burnside Bridge!
