CAN YOU REACH THE BRIDGE IN TIME?

Get ready for Portland's only reverse-timed race! Leave as early as you want, or as late as you dare. Your challenge is to reach the bridge before it goes up at 9:00am-SHARP!

Cruise along the super-fast 8K course (or shorter 2K option) - ALL DOWNHILL!   Starting at the World Forestry Center, you'll descend past the Rose Gardens in Washington Park to PGE Park, and end with an exciting straight shot down Burnside. The Finish Line Festival takes place on the east end of the Burnside Bridge - the "epicenter" of Portland, defining both north and south, east and west!


At 9:00am, the bridge will go up while you and thousands of participants and spectators are serenaded by the Last Regiment of Syncopated Drummers which marks the end of the race and the beginning of the party!  


Reach the Bridge is an opportunity to honor lung cancer survivors and a special tribute to those we've lost to the disease.   Proceeds from the event benefit the American Lung Association in Oregon and help fund lung cancer research. Each participant is required to raise $50 by the day of the event.  By fundraising you can be especially proud of the extra help you'll provide for the thousands of Oregonians who suffer from lung disease plus you will be eligible for great thank you prizes.
